Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using the CustomESP-SR website and services at custom-espsr.com ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

CustomESP-SR provides custom wake word model training services for the Espressif ESP-SR speech recognition framework. Our Service includes order collection, model training, testing access, and delivery of trained model files.

3. Orders and Payment

Submitting an order form does not constitute a binding purchase. After reviewing your requirements, we will send a separate invoice for payment. Work begins only after payment is received and requirements are confirmed.

Pricing is $1,000 USD per wake word model unless otherwise agreed in writing. All payments are non-refundable once model training has begun. Every model undergoes extensive automated and manual quality testing to meet our strict quality standards before delivery.

4. Deliverables

Upon completion, you will receive trained model files compatible with ESP-SR. You are granted a perpetual, non-exclusive license to use the trained model in your products. We retain the right to use anonymized training techniques and methodologies.

5. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of your brand name, wake word, and any materials you provide. The trained model files are licensed to you upon full payment. Our training tools, processes, and underlying technology remain our property.

6. Account Access

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activities under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

7. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service or the trained models. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific model in question.

8. Model Performance

While we strive for high accuracy, wake word detection performance depends on many factors including hardware, environment, and usage conditions. We do not guarantee specific accuracy rates but will work with you to optimize performance within reasonable limits.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violation of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases, but licenses to delivered model files survive termination.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
